| 247758 | 2004-06-25 23:04:00 | Is there a programme that will let me see if my computer is running the best it can run also what I have on it including documents etc. Maybe a lot to ask but if there isn't it would be nice if there was. Thanks in advance. |

If you're running XP then you should have eveything already installed, depending on the original setup. To see what's running, and how much memory is being used, go ctrl+alt+delete to open Task Manager. To see what automatically starts when you boot up, go Start/Run/type in msconfig/Ok/ and look under the Startup tab. To access other tools go Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information. Under the Tools menu are more untilities. For system management tools open Control Panel/Administrative Tools. To view documents and files go Start/Programs/Accessories/Windows Explorer. The above is for XP Pro, but other versions of Windows all have some of the above. |
