| 247597 | 2004-06-25 22:01:00 | Last week I got a virus that disabled ALL my antivirus/firewall etc...me who is obsessive about antivirus...anyway it got in and totally screwed Nortons, ZoneAlarm etc. I have that working now, but when I go to defrag I get an error message saying "Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: (C:). Please run Chkdsk /f." Anyone know what is going on here? Thanks Pip |

| 247599 | 2004-06-25 22:27:00 | I had a look around the web and it looks like you are not alone. Here (69.93.248.139) is a thread from another discussion forum, and Here (www.softwaretipsandtricks.com) is another. The second one has a good solution if you are running XP. |

| 247602 | 2004-06-26 01:13:00 | Went to the "Repair with Recovery Console", and managed to get defrag working again,,, But oh how we forget commands when we havent used them in a while...thank goodness for Help!
