1365158 2014-01-13 20:43:00 Hi All

Just wondering whether anyone knows of a shortcut command for splitting the screen so that you can work two programs at the same time e.g Have Office Excel on the top 1/2 of the screen and Word on the bottom 1/2 ... basically so that I can reference info in Excel and write a report in Word without swapping between screens. I think there is a shortcut, but can't find it in searches I've done ... and yes, I do know that I can do it manually but if there is a shortcut I'd like to know for future reference.

Thanks

or better still:

1. Have the windows you want on top of eachother open.
2. Right click the taskbar.
3. Click "Show windows stacked" (to be one above the other) or "Show windows side by side"
4. Presto! You're all done. Awsome, huh?

1365160 2014-01-13 22:25:00 In Windows 7 and later, you can use the Windows key and the left/right arrow keys to quickly snap the current window. pcuser42 (130)

Thanks to both of you ... much appreciated. I will now go and find a suitable rock to hide under 'till the embarrassment wears off :o
