| 1365023 | 2014-01-12 08:32:00 | My friend has a number of books on her Windows PC - she wants to add these to her iPad mini - they are in the correct .epub format, and even though they are copied into the iTunes Library, when she clicks on the Device sync is greyed out and nothing happens.... I assume the iPad needs to be on - or does it need to be on but "ejected" please? Bryden |

| 1365026 | 2014-01-12 19:50:00 | Sorry what is the Ebola file? I am an innocent abroad particularly when it comes to Apple.... I have iTunes on my Windows 7 PC and have added some books to the Library but when I click on Device, the Sync option which opens is greyed out and nothing happens. I have tried using Calibre which tells me the books have been Sent to Device BUT heaven knows where as I cannot find them, neither in the Kindle, iBooks or Kobo app on the iPad Mini.... I am rapidly increasing my vocabulary of rude words.... TIA | Bryden (4161) | ||

| 1365028 | 2014-01-12 23:34:00 | Thanks for the advice.... I finally got it sorted.... I added the books to iTunes, and then clicked on the device where it appeared in the lefthand strip for that programme, so that I could see the subfolders (Music, Books etc.) and then dragged the books from the iTunes page..... I was almost running out of rude words and was going to have to coin my own.... I do appreciate the help from this forum.... Bryden |
