| 1364625 | 2014-01-07 22:13:00 | Hi all, and happy new year... I am after please a FREE, simple to use app/program etc to password protect my work flashdrive - something that doesn't require loading onto my PC then 20 steps, simple load to usb so that when I plug in the usb you have to enter a password to access the contained data. Any suggestions please? I looked online but the "free" ones are usually 5 day trials or 2GB flashdrive size limit (mine is 8GB) etc... I would have thought there would be a simply user friendly shareware out there... maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? Your help as always is appreciated... A |

Unfortunately it's not quite as simple as "Password protecting" it, but TrueCrypt is the best you'll get while remaining good and secure. |
