Deeper SkyDrive Integration: SkyDrive becomes the default for saving all documents. Any and all files stored in SkyDrive can be made available offline by mirroring the content to your PC.

1344253 2013-06-04 00:01:00 windows7 lite/tiny is the best os microsoft never released.

happily runs on 384MB of ram.

at boot it fluttered up to 250MB memory usage and slowly dropped to 150MB, after swapping to play a game memory usage sat at ~100MB

why can't ms just do this out of the box???

2GB harddrive usage also. a worthy successor to XP and m$ is still fudging it up.

its amazing, sure it lacks many features but only if you compare to full blown vista/7/8

compared to xp it is a definite upgrade in every way.

IF ONLY I COULD FIND AN ISO WITH SP1 OR BE ARSED TO MAKE ONE MYSELF

updating these isos can be, uh, tricky.

updating stuff that doesn't exist causes some pretty nasty panics

1344256 2013-06-07 04:56:00 One thing they need to fix in 8.1 is streaming music to an Xbox (it works fine in Vista and Win7), but not Win8 atm. Found this out last night, and a few forums online say the same thing. Playto works / windows media center works. Managed to get Homegroup going so it streams music to 2 PC's from this.

But the system player on the Xbox doesn't see anything at all. (Says no videos).

So, MS have to either remove this option from the Xbox altogether (or bring out an update to fix it for Win8), or bring out an update for Win8 so it works
