1364705 2014-01-08 20:44:00 Hi,
I work with a young fala who has an iPod but no access to the internet.

I had a standalone copy of iTunes loaded on his old computer that worked fine but that old computer blew its guts and we just got him a new one. I can't seem to find a copy of iTunes that does not require any interaction with the net. Any suggestions please?

Cheers, A

An interweb connection is pretty much a given expectation these days. You might want to check this list out www.oldapps.com

1364707 2014-01-08 20:51:00 You simply download iTunes from their site on a PC that is connected, www.apple.com its 95.7MB - then put the installer on a USB drive, and nstall on the other PC.

No internet required, I do it all the time. The only things you need the internet for is access to the itunes store, or downloading music /movies Via iTunes.

1364712 2014-01-09 22:27:00 Under a Court order... long story, and a bit sensitive... anyway, I took the program along and found out his new comp. is 32 bit and this dummy had a 64 bit program... will try again later today.

What I am after please is Windows Media Player for that Vista 32 bit. I get frustrated when I google this type of thing and then can't work out which is the rite download and which is the wrong one... can anyone help with a link please... remembering this is for a computer that will not be connected to the internet.
