1344450 2013-06-01 07:25:00 Is anyone else pi$$ed of at the ridiculous KIA ad on TV that rants on about "Under the watchful eye of Peter Schreyer..........."

Who the hell is Peter Schreyer? (without looking in Wiki)

Does the mention of his name add credence to their new car?

Are we all idiots?

:(

Maybe, but had you ever heard his name before?

What does "naming" him in the KIA advertisement add to the selling of their latest car?

1344456 2013-06-01 22:41:00 It informs the serfs as to who they should bow down and scrape the ground to as some are more equal than others gary67 (56)
1344457 2013-06-01 23:01:00 Are you two, (Zippity & Gary), annoyed by someone who has the ability to create beautiful lines in a car. I knew of his work with Kia and Hyundai but looking at Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org shows lots of other design work he has been involved in. He does some lovely work, very pleasing to the eye.

1344458 2013-06-01 23:11:00 Ken.

I had never heard of this guy before I "Wikied" him :)

Name dropping is akin to using chemical or "made up names" in advertisements.

It achieves nothing, adds nothing in the way of credibility, and is nothing short of "snobbery" in an attempt to sell product.
