248136 2004-06-28 05:21:00 I have a problem with Microsoft Outlook 2000. if a contact has more than one e-mail address, there is room for three, and I try to send to what isn’t the default in MSWord by right clicking, ‘name/action/send mail to’, it brings up the error message ‘A dialog box is open. close it and try again’ what box and how do I close it? Thought I could remove the title (default e-mail) off the main address so I had to choose but it wouldn’t let me..
Searching MS database does not recognise this error message at all. At least not through Google.
Thank you

248137 2004-06-28 05:52:00 Hi
I didn't know you could do this but have just given it a go and got the same error. However, I noticed this error only comes up in Word when I click File, Send To, Mail Recipient BUT if I go File, Send To, Mail Recipient (as attachment) then I don't get the error (send the Word document as an attachment instead). It sounds like this is a relatively unknown bug and the work-around above may help in the short term until a more permanent solution is found.

Try this: Outlook is not open when you send the email?? If it is close it and try again.
