2004-06-27 19:36:00 | When I decided to use the Woosh service, I had several reasons, one was the quoted speed at the time of 226 kbps. If you look here (sal.neoburn.net), it is obvious I was misled. 259 kbps to McAfee's US site, add that to them dropping the price by $10 a month, and I think I'd better contact Fair Go. Either that or get a life R2

2004-06-27 20:32:00 | I take it you were expecting the given speed of 226kbps? Could you please explain what you mean when you say "misleading" They quoted a speed of 226kbps but you say you're in fact getting 259kbps. You also say that they have deducted $10.00 from the price. So in summary you're getting 33kbps more and you paying $10.00 less... Sounds like a good deal to me... what exactly was misleading or am I being naive? cheers chiefnz

2004-06-27 20:47:00 | Oh it's worse than that, chiefnz, At the moment I'm getting 274 kbps at the McAfee site (us.mcafee.com) so what am I to do? a couple of weeks ago it even showed MUCH faster. I am not accustomed to getting more than I bargained for from anyone but the IRD these days. Seems a bit old fashioned. I am actually rather pleasantly surprised :D R2

2004-06-27 22:20:00 | R2, the only person you should see about this terrible position you find yourself in is Ian Orchard, the bloke with glasses and the blue coat (to make him look like he knows what he is talking about), from Target . He is the best one to find something negative in something more being received than you have paid for! Either that or write to your MP . J :D

2004-06-27 22:28:00 | Maybe you should cancel your account :) Nah, its good to see someone getting more than they bargained for. It might be worth extra business for Woosh... you're not on commission are you?

2004-06-28 01:22:00 | That McAfee site seems to register faster than it actually may be... R2, see what result you get at the following: www.numion.com and www.nzadsl.co.nz
