| 248167 | 2004-06-28 06:27:00 | I know it means command line interface but how does it work? I have a nokia m1122 router with the port on it and i was wondering how to make it work and what it does. Thanks Daniel |

| 248168 | 2004-06-28 07:05:00 | CLI is used to configure the router IOS. If you don't understand how to configure a router don't play with it. | Davesdad (923) | ||
| 248169 | 2004-06-28 07:57:00 | You need a cable that converts the RJ45 CLI port to a standard serial port. This allows you to interface with the modem via command-line, useful if the firmware breaks, but thats about it. I made the cable myself, it's around here somewhere. Pin-outs are reasonably easily found on Google, however as mentioned if you don't know what you're doing don't mess with it. M1122's are known to be fickle. |
