| 248318 | 2004-06-29 05:02:00 | I've just made Firefox my default browser (major leap of faith :D ) and now if I double click an internet shortcut on my desktop, I get a dialog box saying windows can't find the url, but Firefox opens it successfully anyway. How do I make the message go away? Yeah, I know, click OK - what I mean is how do I stop the message appearing in the first place? |

| 248322 | 2004-06-30 08:41:00 | There was a very brief article in a recent edition of the NZ Herald where some august body was recommending that people switch to "Mozilla or Firefox" during the current times when IE is at risk. Must find it so I can quote more specifically............! Anyway, thanks to tips and advice from the marvellous people on this forum I had already recently made the switch. Misty :) :^O :) ]:) |
