249010 2004-07-01 11:28:00 TOKYO Matsushita Electric Industrial, the world's biggest maker of consumer electronics, will start selling its Blu-ray DVD recorders, which can record as much as 10 times the information contained on current DVDs. Recordable DVD discs compatible with Matsushita's new recorder have a capacity of 25 or 50 gigabytes, compared with 4.7 gigabytes for current DVDs. A 50-gigabyte disc can hold 4.5 hours of digital programming at the highest quality or 63 hours of analog programming.

249012 2004-07-01 21:12:00 doesnt look like those are coming out anymore Chill, but you might have more luck with nano-drives or chemical storage devices (both talked about in scientific america) which could hold hundreds of terrabytes. Budda (2736)
