That's what I do as well, or use Ctrl+Left Click, but trying to train the rest of the family to do the same is a lost cause hence the benefit of the extension. Seeing their taskbar full of open Firefox windows just drove me nuts! :D

248959 2004-07-07 09:13:00 Thanks for the info everyone, and now I know what you are talking about when you say 'tabs'. The scroll doesn't work for me, but control and scroll does. Thanks for all the info. supergran (108)

:^O Indeed, kinda defeats the purpose of tabs doesn't it.

I've actually banned my family members from using IE because of the risks with it. I'm sick of cleaning up after them once they get all these crazy search bars and goodness knows what else on there!

Same here. I have completely removed all shortcut icons to IE and replaced them with Firefox icons. There was a bit of protest to start with but once they understood why it was soon accepted.

I can still run IE from the start menu when required (when they aren't looking :D) but the others won't be touching it again. ;-)

248963 2004-07-08 04:10:00 :^O Excellent. Or you pull a fast one and change the icon of firefox, to IE and they think they're opening IE but muahaha Firefox opens up! kiki (762)
