| 248975 | 2004-07-01 11:02:00 | i just installed my old hd into my new comp it's only 2gb and i use it for backup the hd itself is rather loud is there a program that can switch off the hd when i don't need it for backup.. then switch it back on when i need it? powermanagement in window can poweroff hd so is there a program that is made to do that to selected hd? |

| 248976 | 2004-07-02 09:24:00 | Only thing I can suggest is a removable HDD caddy (www.dse.co.nz),$26 from DSE. when you are not using your backup HDD just slide it out. Steve |
