| 248814 | 2004-07-01 05:45:00 | I have just installed a new 120gig hard drive ..and now my cd-r and cd-rw can not be found by NTI CD Maker Deluxe ..every time i open the program it says ( no supported cd-r or cd-rw drive found. The drives are there but the software will not or can't find them >>???? any help would be welcome.. cheers Jim. |

| 248815 | 2004-07-01 06:00:00 | What version of Windows are you using? Your CD drive letters may have altered after the installation of your hard drive - check for this in Windows Explorer or in Disk Management if you are using Windows XP. | tommy (2826) | ||
| 248816 | 2004-07-01 06:06:00 | First up I would check all IDE and power cables are firmly plugged in. When the computers boots do you see a black screen with white writing and does this list the CDRW drive? You may need to press the pause key to stop the black and white screen disappearing. |

You can either change the drive letters so that the CD drives have the same letters as before or you can uninstall your NTI CD Maker Deluxe program and reinstall it so that it will then look for the drives in their current places. Do be aware that other programs may also be affected by the change in the drive letters. |
