249254 2004-07-02 10:29:00 Just did a scan using No Adwarev2.00. These are the scan results.

W32/Noala.blvH-key_LOCAL MACHINE\software/m Reg Value severe
Backdoor.Cabro HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE\software\lv Reg Value Severe
My Search my way Cookie Dangerous.
What do I do?
Operating System Win 98 SE. I constantly use JV16 Power tools, Ad-Aware, AVG Anti-Virus and had Nortons Virus until 2 weeks ago. Also installed Zone Alarm last week. Any help appreciated

249255 2004-07-02 10:48:00 make sure your antivirus is upto date and do a full scan .

what does adaware pick up?

other than that i wouldn't bother to much about it . tho its odd that an anti adware program picks up a virus/trojen .

249257 2004-07-02 11:04:00 Anti-Virus and Ad-Aware are both up to date. They don't pick up anything. summertime (2568)

249259 2004-07-02 11:05:00 No Adware says I can't remove the problems until i register and pay to join. Looks like a scam? summertime (2568)

Sounds like a scam too!

Stick to Spybot and Adaware, plus a good AV.

249261 2004-07-02 12:11:00 Thanks for all the advice. Housecall did not detect anything at all. summertime (2568)
249262 2004-07-02 14:01:00 I would get Adaware and Spybot on as oer previous advice and on top of that give Hijackthis a run. Noadaware defintiely looks like a scam. A search brings up all sorts of so called affiliate programs for redirecting, etc.
