| 249091 | 2004-07-01 23:30:00 | I partitoned my 60 gig hard drive in two partitions on my presario R3003 notebook. Formatted both partitions and installed Windows XP SP1a again. Exe files installed on the C drive are ok, but my backup exe files on a CD all turned to DOS files (no original Icon). I copied the files from the CD to the newly created D drive. Same result. No exe file would run. I followed advice from Microsoft and put "%1" %* in the value of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command which did not help. Somebody in the know to get it right again? |
