I have noticed a strange event happening with my computer. Every time a leave my computer for a while it seems to log itself out and return to the user logon screen (Windows XP). This is not the strange thing, the strange thing is that the CD-ROM drive seems to open mysteriously so when I come back the drive is open. What can be causing this and how can I stop it. It has just started recently and I have adware and spybot installed and my system is free of bugs according to them ????? |

Sounds like a virus or something. Or it could be that someone is playing a prank on you? |

some trojans including the infamous sub7 will allow folks to take over your ptuer and do stuff like opening the cd drive among other things........run an uptodate virus scanner |

I would suggest also running a trojan detection program as well as anti-virus. |
