| 249697 | 2004-07-03 23:37:00 | Well i'm having with my clear connection and accessing other websites but I can get to PressF1 (Yay!). Hopefully someone here can help. I'm looking at buying either a HTIB www.panasonic.co.nz or a NAD 742 receiver and two paradigms espirits floorstanding speakers as I already have a centre and 2 surrounds but nothing to plug them into. the NAD version will cost me more but may produce better sound, but with the way our room is set up i'm the front speakers need to be by the tv and i don't think the espirits are sheilded. Anyone with any experience in this area or with HTIB packages. Cheers |

You will need to observe the screen closely as static magnetic field interference is easier to see on some colours than others. The speaker doesn't have to be plugged in or operating, it is the magnet field that causes the problem, not the audio. White screens are probably best as you see dark smudges and moving the speaker around will see them move in sympathy. Either that or have a tiral run at home. Choices? Go with your ears and wallet.
