249728 2004-07-05 12:36:00 i could just add a big picture for the picture non hyperlink banner.
then add a hyperlinked panel bar the left navigation bar ..

then add my text by its own layer box ... thus getting out of this panel thing but is it there a better way?

249729 2004-07-05 23:45:00 Unless you want each icon to have it's own frame just have them all linking to the same frame mikebartnz (21)

249731 2004-07-06 01:57:00 You've got too many questions for me to answer - maybe work a bit more and get more specific with a problem you're having.

But anyway - I suggest doing one or both of two things... go through Dreamweaver's built-in tutorial, or go to HP's website and do an free online course. Search PF1 Suzy Bee's (Susan B) posts for more info on HP's online courses

249732 2004-07-06 02:52:00 You should draw each page on a piece of paper and name each frame and the page loaded into it, also name the framesets. When you click on a link you need to direct the page you want displayed into the frame.
This should help mixing things up.

Here are two snippets of code the first is the index.html and the second is navgation.htm

<frameset rows="80,*" frameborder="NO" border="0" framespacing="0" cols="*">
<frame name="topFrame" scrolling="NO" noresize src="title.htm" >
<frameset cols="100,*" frameborder="NO" border="0" framespacing="0" rows="*">
<frame name="leftFrame" scrolling="NO" noresize src="navagation.htm">
<frame name="mainFrame" src="home.htm">
</frameset>
</frameset>
<noframes>

You will probally have somthing similar to this already

Photos (photos.htm)

This is how you point pages to frames

Hope this will help, if you muck around long enough you will get it in the end.
