| 250401 | 2004-07-07 05:01:00 | Hi, I've been using spybot for awhile with no problems, but now when i click on it to start it opens up and shows it checking my computer, but it doesn't show any menu or anything really just the running page then it disappears. I can't update it or change any settings. I've uninstalled it using it's own uninstall and windows xp uninstall then searched for anything related to spybot and deleted it. I havn't touched the registry as that is a scary place! I have then reinstalled it from PCworld cd and spybot website and it just starts the same. I've email the spybot people but have had no reply. | 250402 | 2004-07-07 09:49:00 | Try starting it via .. Start - program s - Spybot - Spybot default. It should open normally. If so, go mode-advanced Now click settings , then the heading "settings" , scroll down and make sure nothing is ticked under "automation" |
