| 250282 | 2004-07-06 10:18:00 | Hi All, Well i have decided to finally do the well overdue windows reinstall on my pc, Im going through everything and backup what i can, In checking the windows Hotfix installs i was supprised at how many i have, Is there anyway to backup Windows hotfixes so i can just Install them after my Recovery or do i have to download the whole lot again? Thanks heaps in advance James |

| 250283 | 2004-07-06 10:25:00 | If you downloaded them via Windows Update, then you will need to download them all again after the format and reinstall. If you downloaded the updates manually (you have the .exe still saved), then you can just back those up and then reinstall from those. You can order a free CD from Microsoft which contains all the updates up to October 2003 which will help greatly. Order from here (www.microsoft.com) |
