250257 2004-07-07 05:52:00 I agree with Susan.

Its like sending a photo of your open wardrobe to a stranger and saying "what should I keep"?

You may get a lot of well intentioned advice, but it may be less than helpful in the long run. In fact it could be fun, but thats another thread perhaps....

If your PC is not giving problems, you do not need to clean the registry.

I have not cleaned the registry on any of the 4 PCs here in the last 3 years, as there has been no need.
I have no intention of starting.
Its only really required when you install endless applications and some do not uninstall correctly, and give errors at every boot-up.

The program makes a backup each time, and it only removes redundent entries.

and you may need the backups as some of those redundent entries are not actually redundent hence why its best to use an upto date cleaner. the list of things not to remove gets updated from time to time.

since jv16 has gone pro/paid i have switched over to toni arts easy cleaner (someone here recommended it) which seems to work well. don't foget to update it tho.

250262 2004-07-07 06:59:00 hmmm.....400 or so comps done with the old regcleaner at my end,no reported problems so far.

Scanned 2 or 3 with toni arts and all hell broke loose.
