250718	2004-07-08 11:47:00	Hi, My computers really slow, nothing seems to be wrking, i cant get into msn or my emails, and when explorer opens its only for few minutes and closes on its own, i think it has a virus, is there anything i can download thts free to remove it lol... anyhelp appreciated... I am guessing you don’t have any Anti-Virus program on youe computer? correct? If not a free Anti-Virus program I use is AVG you can download/read more about it here: http://www.grisoft.com/ & it is free as well. Also one you have run a Anti-Virus program over your computer & it is still slow have a read of this FAQ: pressf1.pcworld.co.nz & run Ad-aware & Spybot Search and Destroy the download Urls are listed in the above thread. & after all that your computer is still slow or you are having more problems post back here & also when you do post back here, tell us what OS you have e.g. win 98 SE/ ME/ XP Home/pro etc… Hope this helps	stu120404 (268)
250720	2004-07-08 11:56:00	Hi Mermaid Do you currently have any Antivirus Software installed? If not download, update and then run AVG (free) (www.grisoft.com). If you do have Antivirus software installed, make sure it is up to date and then do a full scan. This should detect if you have a virus as long as it just hasn't been released. If no virus shows up, you will need to give us some more information like any error messages that appear and what OS you are running.	Jen C (20)

If a post comes up when you are on the main page, you go and answer it if you can. There is no race. > Stu and JenC basically posted the same information at > the same time. I see this happening about twice a > day. Its like a race or something... This happens quite frequently with questions which are pretty easy to answer. When you start a reply there are no other replies posted, but once you hit "post" you sometimes see 1-2 others have already replied with similar comments in the meantime. Often each poster adds slightly different angles to the suggestions, which can be helpful :) I sometimes have a duplicate tab open of the same thread, and do a quick refresh of that page before hitting post, if I see replies have now been added which basically cover what I was about to post, I just cancel my post. You sometimes do get caught out and post information that was covered 10 minutes ago by someone else .. :p	Jen C (20)

Mind you it would only be worth trying two or three.... some things might get picked up by one and not the other ...but I guess that soon it would be a case of diminishing returns !! 1.
