| 250409 | 2004-07-07 05:17:00 | I have been testing proxies [www.creightonbrown.geek.nz and while i found about 2 out of 40 that allow Bps limits they could be a hassle to administer being proxies Does anyone know of a Software Bridge that can impose Bps limits? This would work great with my jetstream to prevent abuse. i assume at that level i wont be able to assign username/passwords but still it would be adequate for my small home network probably Thanks in advance |

Content, usage filtering and rate limiting is a feature of some of them AFAIK. You'll need to check out the individual web sites but, it seems you don't mind a bit of research. Cheers Murray P |

Previously I download about 50 titles from there, even talked about advertising there... i like downloaded heaps then went about putting them on www.cheapcds.digitalbuilder.co.nz because i figure i built up the collection *shrug* [although i took it off and now plan on rebuilding when i swap to a 2Mbps connection] Thanks for taking the time to write to me :-) i will probably try more linux options soon because it appears i am depleting the windows ones. |
