251152 2004-07-09 23:44:00 Guys,

What is this tool and where can I find it?
I am running Office 2k(&XP) and have just lost all my emails & contacts. No settings were changed, hardware added/removed etc. When I open outlook it tells me that the "pst" file is missing and that I should use the inbox repair tool.

If I can only find the stupid thing!?!.......or should I rather bite the bullet and start fresh? Checked for virusses and used spybot........nothing.

Cheers
Henk

251153 2004-07-09 23:55:00 Before you use the inbox repair tool (someone here find it soon), search for outlook.pst using Windows Explorer and copy it to another location so that you have a backup of your e-mails in case the repair stuffs up the file further. andrew93 (249)
