| 251075 | 2004-07-09 10:52:00 | HI My computer keeps losing power evcery so often, it used to only happen once a blue moon but now a bit more often between 3 min & 6 or so hrs. If I unplug the main power lead from the computer & plug it back in a couple of times & then the computer will start up again. anyone have a clue what the problem might be? PSU, bad lead, etc It is a few years old & it looks kinda dirty inside. Thanks Daniel |

| 251081 | 2004-07-10 10:18:00 | Um it's like the power has just been turned off at the wall. though earlier today it was like the reset button had been hit. Graham L I think I only have 1 fan that I can see at the back & it is still going fine Stryker "Perhaps with the winter power consumption, your PC is hooked up to a circuit thats already under some load. Your power supply is maybe responsible for the break instead of your homes switchboard." ? what the computer is pluged into a 6-way, T.V & VCR being pluged into the same one (+ Scanner/printer but not turned on), neither is turned on when the computer is running. Nothing else goes off ie Monitor, Speakers or even Lights, Stereo etc Thanks for the help! Daniel |
