| 250935 | 2004-07-09 06:05:00 | Running XP Pro here... I dropped another HDD in my computer last night to copy files off it and it claimed the drive letter C: which is the letter of my Win98 partition. I changed the letter back to C: after I pulled out the other HDD, but it won't show up in My Computer as C: and resets itself back to not having a drive letter at startup. PartitionMagic 8 comes up with 'Error # 702' whenever I try to change the drive letter in PartitionMagic. Anyone know the fix for this one? It's got me confused. :( Thanks Winter |

| 250937 | 2004-07-09 06:13:00 | I have a 40GB HDD with 2 partitions on it... one for XP and one for Win98. | wintertide (1306) | ||
| 250938 | 2004-07-09 08:43:00 | They mean the Master/Slave/Cable select jumper setting found next to the cable plugin. | mikebartnz (21) | ||
| 250939 | 2004-07-09 08:55:00 | Yes, but the master/slave setting wasn't changed when I put in the other HDD as i put it on my secondary channel... the jumpers on both teh drives were master and the HDD in my PC is still on master. | wintertide (1306) | ||
