Good to hear you got it all sorted :)

You will notice that a few things have moved location in Firefox 0.9+, like Preferences are found under Edit, and new Themes and Extensions can be added under Tools.

Decided to give Mozilla another go, after hearing great things about the browser Firefox, I downloaded it and set it up. Wow easy as. Even imported every thing from IE, flash plugin worked. Here I was thinking, with all the extra security I might change for good.
I have had this installed less than a day and already it needs patching, whats the deal?

251021 2004-07-09 10:52:00 Jen,just a query.I usually save my bookmarks html from Windows/application data/Phoenix/../../number as a backup in case of trouble!Checking there today,I find that not all the new sites I've added in the last few days appear on the list, even though they show in Firefox bookmarks.Any idea why?And I have now installed 0.9.2,thanks. Yes, this should be because from ver 0.9+, it doesn't use \Phoenix\ etc anymore, but you should have a \Mozilla folder with your profile details and bookmarks html in now instead. Take a look there. If you find all your bits and pieces under the new folder, you can probably delete the old Phoenix folder.

*cough*

I could be a bit muddled here but I thought it was I who provided the "help" with a bit of backup from Jen C rather than the other way around. Not that it matters much off course as long as you got the job done. ;-)

251025 2004-07-09 11:15:00 Just for fun the new users of Firefox and Opera might like to take this test (www.kephyr.com) with their new browser and again with Internet Explorer just to demonstrate what you're now going to seriously miss. ;-) Fire-and-Ice (3910)
