I was blocked when using the laptop in the house, but I find that I can access the bank sites and the Telecom usage meter using Firefox on my desktop in the outside office. I have the same firewall and AdSubtract Pro operating on all three of my computers, so there must be some other explanation. No matter - I just assumed that it was a Firefox problem because it appeared on Firefox on the laptop. It isn't a problem to me now that I know that there is no blockage on my main computer. | 250918 | 2004-07-09 23:39:00 | I have found out that the problem is with my software firewall. The problem only occurs with the firewall on the laptop but not the desktop, even though all settings are identical! I had to make up rules in my laptop firewall to allow Firefox to access two bank sites and Jestream usage. Weird. John |
