| 250838 | 2004-07-09 03:51:00 | o, ok. hmm.. i really need some sort of switching device/splitter.... unless i just get some extension cords, and have it so i can easily swap them over but having the plugs in front of my desk, rather than behind in the jungle of wires.... in fact, that mite be a better idea. get some ex-cords which bring the plugs from my soundcard around to the front of the pc, and put some ex-cords on the ps2 audio cables, then when i want SS on my ps2, swap them over w/o haveing to go behind the pc. thanks guys |

| 250839 | 2004-07-09 07:17:00 | I have a small (10cm wide x 2 cm high x 2cm deep) switch box I purchased many years ago from Dick Smiths, that I could change what audio inputs fed my amplifier. I just tried it and it also works putting two separate sound outputs to one set of speakers, either one goes, or the other. Only the connection with the switch pressed down is 'live'. It's a cheap plastic looking thing with four shiny button levers on top. It has rca inputs/outputs along the rear (can use rca to 3.5mm converters for your sound leads) and a 3.5mm stereo input/output at the front. Works either way round - signal in the front and out rear and vice versa. Sounds like that is the sort of thing you need. J :D |

| 250843 | 2004-07-14 02:37:00 | You could make one: all you need is a 4 pole double throw switch, and the appropriate plugs and sockets.(You mignht not find a toggle switch these days, but rotary switches are easy to get.) | Graham L (2) | ||
