| 250859 | 2004-07-09 02:16:00 | I've got a new 200 GB Seagate HDD and connected to a machine running XP Pro as 'slave'. XP detected the drive and I created 2 partitions, all OK. BUT, when I tried to create a 3rd partition the process failed. When shutting down and reboot, XP failed to boot up. I've to disconnect the new HDD to boot up XP. Is there a limit to the number of partitions I can create for a drive? Or there is other settings to rectify this problem? Cheers |
