251551 2004-07-11 06:56:00 I recently upgraded from a 17" to a 19" CRT monitor to give me more screen area to work with.

My problem is that when set to 1024 x 768 the text at the top and bottom of the screen in windows and programs is too small for my eyes to read comfortably. Changing back to 800 x 600 leaves me as I was before I bought the bigger screen with everything too big.

What have I missed?

251552 2004-07-11 06:59:00 You could try going into Display Properties (right click Desktop, choose Properties) and increase the font size under the Appearance tab. tommy (2826)
251553 2004-07-11 07:07:00 check your font size setting.

i run my 19" crt at 1280x960 without it being to small.
