It works fine except that the display card was removed to repair another computer. Can anyone point me to a cheap suitable card. Pricespy will give you something to compare tademe prices to, you may well decide it less hassle and poss cheaper to buy from the shops listed. If this is the case go to any decent specialised computer shop (as against a place that just sells computers) and ask for a secondhand 2 or 4 meg pci card. They probably have a box load of them. Don't pay more than 20 bucks, 10 bucks much better and see if you can get a trident S3. Win 98se will identify it and load drivers for it. It will suffice for the above tasks but anything else will be cr*p or try here www.computerbroker.co.nz they do mailorder |
