251369 2004-07-10 10:55:00 I've having problems with Port Forwarding.

I've even tried the DMZ settings on my PC but when I use Shield UP! to scan the port, it is still closed. How to make the port open?

What port do you want to open? & why? & what firewall do you have?

And what OS do you have?

251371 2004-07-10 11:44:00 Port 6881 Onwards, for Bit Torrent, and I have disabled my Firewall at this stage to test. I'm using PC-Cillin 2004 Internet Security and using XP Pro SKT174 (1319)

I've already set the port 6881 to my PC's IP on the router and even enabled DMZ

Whats probably happening is that you've opened the port on the router and its being forwared to your pc directly. Now seeing as you have the other firewall on the PC, that might be letting the GRC scan not get though (which is good) and that will be why its not 'open'.

Bittorrent should still function properly.
