251365 2004-07-10 08:39:00 Hi

I have a MSI mobo and Gforce MX4000 videocard
Prior to the latter I had a Winfast MX2-400

In both cases the Everest diagnostic programme is reporting that I have AGP disabled

I have got the only options in BIOS appropriately enabled but still get this message

What I don't understand is that if the AGP is disabled - how can I be getting a fine picure FROM THAT CARD!

Do I have to re-installe the motherboard drivers?
Or - can someone p[lease tell me how to get the AGP port working and prefereably at 8X which my new card will support?

I have WinXP Home ed with SP1
Athlon 2600+
MAG 19" CRT

TIA

Ron

251366 2004-07-10 09:23:00 I think the Everest program could be incorrect. My AGP 8x is definitely enabled according to the SmartGART tab (for Radeon cards) but Everest reports it as disabled.

Motherboard chipset drivers might fix the issue?
