2004-07-13 01:25:00 | Has anyone else got/used this card? I bought it and have been unable to use it with ANY other Video Capture software. If anyone else has this card & has been able to use it with other software (WinDVR, Beyond TV, Sage TV etc...) could you please tell me how you accomplished this. Thanks, -=Tom=-

2004-07-13 05:15:00 | Hmmm, I never knew there was a record feature in Movie Maker. I need a program that I can use to record things on BBC World at around 3am. If your card came with a remote & can recieve radio it's the pro version :)

2004-07-13 06:08:00 | If it's the Pro HD then yes. Real crap. Only captures in raw avi. Can't get it to capture in MPEG, also only seems to want to tune into one channel when I do a channel scan. Hence the reason I asked Chilling about his Vox what the capture quality was like but he never answered.. so it must be crap as well.. | paulw (1826) | |
2004-07-13 06:20:00 | Who me? No, capture is briliant! Software is pretty good, but cant beat TVTime or MythTV :D This exports as AVI's but I use software to convert it and change/chop it etc.

2004-07-13 07:11:00 | Yeh, I'm just running a 6m extension from the roof topo antenna (probably degrades performance 8-) ) . Hmmm, I'll try VirtualDub . I don't have the Pro HD, just the Pro . Oh yeh, the FM reception on this thing is amazing .

2004-07-13 07:38:00 | Thanx Cilling. What's the quality of DVD complient MPEG2 files like?? Have you tried burning these to a DVD..??

2004-07-13 09:17:00 | The visual quality of any MPEG2 files will depend strongly on the visual quality of the source. I know that your question isn't relevant to the Pixelview PlayTV Pro HD, but I honestly don't really see a point in getting a card that supports high definition media, when we don't even have broadcasting support for that HD-TV yet. Sure, you might call it upgrading with the future in mind, but I bet it'll be a long time before high definition broadcasting makes it to New Zealand.
