| 251916 | 2004-07-16 04:24:00 | Im sure that would be a factor,I don't play with raid much,None of my comps run it,and they all have bog stardard ata drives running at 7200rpm, apart from my notebook. Currently i am surounded by 4 comps running xp,a 2200,a 2600,a 2800 and my laptop which is also a 2800,They all boot at different speeds,all the desktops are running norce2 chipsets,and 512mb ram. On the 2800 comp boot up is extremly quick. As is any task undertaken,and i have no doubt that all these comps do every task large or small at a much much faster rate then a celery 1.8. Maybe i should break out the stopwatch. Actually,no need,Load a celeray 1.8 up with heavy work and it will drop its arse and slow to a crawl. |
