Would your problems have anything to do with the fact that you haven't spelt your "mozilla" folder correctly?? ;-)

252084 2004-07-13 07:04:00 Hi Gods-Hitman,

If you are using Xandros and looking at installing Mozilla you could always click on the Xandros Network shortcut and download the program from them. It is always easier to install programs that have been compiled by the distro supplier rather than trying to install from source.

You can switch to temporary root powers with the su command and then enter in root's password. If you use su - (note space then hyphen) this will also give you root powers but the "-" switch means you will end up in roots home. For installing, the app will be saved in your /home directory, so just use the plain su so that you remain in your user directory ... hope that wasn't too confusing!

Did you look on the Xandros Networks for aMSN? Try switching to Expert Mode and also select Debian unstable for your package sources. Then do the search. Using the Xandros Networks is much tidier and will include any dependencies that are required.
