| 251813 | 2004-07-12 09:21:00 | Hello Folks, I've just bought an older Acer Extensa 503DX laptop in great condition. All I need now is a little more ram and it will be nigh on perfect for the purposes I bought it for. It presently has a 32bit ram and I want to upgrade it to at least 128 (or more). I was wondering if the ram slots are universal, or do I have to locate and purchase Acer memory card(s)? Can anybody help? |

If its SODIMM module type, you may get some PC133 to work Try somewhere like Dick Smith Electronics. They have 64 MB sticks for $35 (Catalog XH8012) Look on their site and see if it looks the same? |

They still ran like gutted dogs. The only noticeable difference was fast screen refresh. |
