1366193 2014-01-26 22:48:00 What I would do first is

1. Uninstall the latest version of Java for now

2. Then download / extract the Javara zip file. Then run Javara then click on update javara definitions / download, then back / click on additional tasks / tick the 3rd and fourth option. Then run. Then remove java runtime. Then next. Then click on perform removal routine

This is just to make sure old versions of Java have been removed, as well as the latest version. Then reinstall 7 update 51

Hopefully, once you do step 2, these entries shouldnt be in the log

O16 - DPF: {8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93} (Java Plug-in 10.51.2) -
O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-0022-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Plug-in 1.6.0_22) -
O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-0029-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Plug-in 1.6.0_29) -
O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-FFFF-FFFF-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Plug-in 10.51.2) -

And once you reinstall 7 update 51, you can remove this entry from the log, or delete in startup if you installed ccleaner O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\Java Update\jusched.exe"

What about this startup entry?? Did you install it? O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Anti-phishing Domain Advisor] "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Anti-phishing Domain Advisor\visicom_antiphishing.exe"

Speedy, sorry for the long delay in replying.

Wife's birthday and trades people coming in to quote for house repairs that EQC would not run with us on.

Having said that:

1) done.

2) cannot get Javara to run from any of the main download points.

What about startup entries: can't answer that one, except to say many people have been playing with our pcs' over xmas/new year period, will delete those then.

Kind regards,

Lurking.

1366195 2014-01-28 21:18:00 Whoops Speedy, daughter of of course put a wifi router onto this pc in December so that we could sit and pick up things on the two new g3 phones wife shouted for my obe in November and herself.

Perhaps the startup entry antiphishing should stay, so have not deleted that one yet.

1366197 2014-01-29 04:16:00 Did you download javara then extract it?

Yes I did and as usual with any Zip file the attached is the result.

1366198 2014-01-30 01:58:00 Umm you didnt use ccleaner after you extracted it did you?? Since thats in the temp folder? Why does that show adding files?? Youre not adding anything. You're extracting files in a zipped file. I think you should update Winzip, if you're going to use it.

Since it looks like thats a Beta version

1366199 2014-01-31 03:53:00 Hi Speedy, managed to get Winzip downloaded.

Ran javara after updating and hope we uninstalled java.

Downloaded latest Java.
