| 1365851 | 2014-01-22 21:58:00 | I agree it was something I used in my arsenal but it identified some programs that I question: Folder Found C:\Program Files\mapsgalaxy_39 Understandably ~ I just researched & found mapgalaxy_39 is a toolbar considered to be malware but Adwcleaner also identified and would delete File Found : C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\NCH Software which would make any of these programs including the pup inoperative |

| 1365852 | 2014-01-22 22:46:00 | Don't you have the opportunity to uncheck any files or reg entries that you don't want removed after you have done a scan, before you click the "clean" ? btw, I have used nch software myself for recording phone calls using an old pci dialup modem, and have had warnings from other scanners about it too - can't remember which ones now tho. However, if you do a google on them, they have a bit of a reputation for a spyware additions, and if you use it I'm sure you would be aware of all the extra annoying nags etc etc. But there's not much else that does the job when you need it :) (well, what I was needing at least) |

As its been mentioned it will find items others dont, Nothing is perfect and get then all. NCH Software -- DOES contain what is considered malware, it installs various items even if you tell it not to. The actual software is reasonably good, its a pity they bundle in all the crap. |
