| 1365811 | 2014-01-22 08:08:00 | I have an Excel spreadsheet that has a very small bit of VBA behind it. It is stored as a .xlsm file. It has worked satisfactorily for years. A couple of weeks ago I made a copy and saved it in the same folder. The only difference between the two docs is the VBA now covers a different group of cells. The new file always insists on opening that "macros have been disabled" and I have to click a button to enable them. The document has been flagged as a trusted document and the location is a trusted location, but it has made no difference. Any ideas? Fixed! For some reason Excel had the file identified as being from a network location (which it wasn't), which is presumably why it kept reinstating the security. When I did a "save as" to the same folder all the problems went away. Why did it think it was on the network? - no idea. |
