| 1365503 | 2014-01-19 19:40:00 | :yuck: OK, I've got a Gateway lappy that I believe is a POS running Win8! That aside, I've had to do a recovery to get back any control. Whether it was a missing file or a virus, malware, etc. is sort of a moot point now, but even with Speedy's help over Teamviewer, we couldn't get it sorted ... hence the recovery. It's now behaving itself ... sort of. Packaged with the "Software" is Nortons AV plus Backup ... I uninstalled them with Revo but the damn thing has come back again. Simple question .... how do I kill this Nortons F$*&%er for good ?? Need to get rid of it so that I can put NOD32 on it. Thanks peoples SP8's |
