This is very sad. (And just annother reason that we need a lot more people in NZ, its all about numbers and economies of scale) |

(And just annother reason that we need a lot more people in NZ, its all about numbers and economies of scale) Perhaps an anthill is your idea of nirvana, but others may consider we are already overpopulated for our resources. For instance, it takes a certain number of capable politicians and civil servants to efficiently do what needs to be done (as opposed to what they think should be done). On this basis, we have room for a population of about 15,000 people as an absolute maximum. On the other hand, if we consider fitness-for-purpose to be irrelevant in the public sector, we have sufficient of them for more people than currently populate the entire world (assuming they do only what is necessary, and eschew all that serves only the administrators). |
