1345451 2013-06-11 22:01:00 This guy seems to make his profit from selling decent coloured cases instead of the shocking pink it comes in . However I have a suitable victim to give this to, but only if its a good deal .

1345452 2013-06-11 22:08:00 Typically all the cheap tablets are disappointing in comparison to, say a Galaxy tab or Nexus, but it depends on what your expectations are.

Personally I wouldn't bother, save a bit more and get a nexus, but it depends on what it's going to be used for. I would never buy one without having a play first, as there can be so much variation between the cheap tablets.

1345453 2013-06-11 22:10:00 Nope :)
I bought a tablet with that resolution once, never again.
www.dicksmith.co.nz would be the lowest, in terms of specs, I'd buy.

1345454 2013-06-11 22:10:00 Son bought granddaughter one of the cheapies for Xmas last year. It lasted till May before reaching terminal breakdown point. He is now rueing the waste of hard earned money. Can't find cash receipt which makes things difficult!

None; except to give a friend a surprise gift.

Thanks for the replies... Think I'll buy her a reasonable bottle of champagne instead.

1345457 2013-06-12 01:20:00 yep, expectations rise once she is drunk ;) Nah, that's silly. Even a great vintage, eg '49 or '61 doesn't make a wonderful woman drunk. 'Cept in your case mayhaps it could be a plus? Or even a requirement? Hmm (www.astrology.co.uk).

Or... better to read here instead of the Astrology shyte:

“I drink it when I’m happy and when I’m sad.
Sometimes I drink it when I’m alone.
When I have company I consider it obligatory.
I trifle with it if I’m not hungry and drink it when I am.
Otherwise, I never touch it – unless I’m thirsty.”

1345458 2013-06-12 01:44:00 Ive been considering the Ainol Tablets. Has anyone here had experience with these?

I fully realize a tablet is going to be a toy(for me) , so couldnt justify $300+ for a Samsung Tab2.

1345459 2013-06-12 05:22:00 Bought the same as the op's, nextbook? Okay for checking mail and such without turning the pc on.
Still learning my way around though.

Are you sure the spelling of the 5th word in your post is correct?
