| 1345257 | 2013-06-10 05:28:00 | Current situation. We have recently sold a business which included our home phone number. The number is currently diverted to a mobile phone that the new owner has. So we can still ring out but can't receive any calls. We still have use of the broadband & emails. Desired result We would like a new home phone number & the new owner to take over the other one. But we don't want to lose our email address's Method Have contacted our supplier (Vodafone) to put the wheels in motion. We have been told we need to transfer the ownership of the account to the new owner. Please fill out this form. www.vodafone.co.nz Then we apply for a new home line number & plan. We have been told the cost will be about $50 for the new number. I am just a little weary that this may not pan out the way we would like. Has anyone else been down this road & could advice if we are on the right track. |

Then you just need to notify Vodafone and tell them you want a "new" number when that one is ported away. Easy, and no cost to you! :) |
