| 1346254 | 2013-06-19 23:33:00 | well i have been thinking about the "old" days. in PC terms its a lifetime ago and certainly over the years we have seen a lot of changes. at my start i was having arguments with "IT pros" that home pc uses actually needed antivirus. then it was antispyware and firewalls. technology is changing at such a rapid pace and people havn't changed with it. now antivirus/spyware firewalls are the norm, many are combo programs and even built into the OS. in the end it was forums like this that changed perceptions. before this forums closes i would like to thank all those who have spent their time helping others and in doing so help change the PC landscape. |

(thanks to everyone) So where are we going to go now ? For computer help and for general forums. The Trademe general forums are very busy, but can be nasty. I am thinking of starting a general forum to go with one of my websites. |
