What is their response to stress? More reclusive than an agoraphobic clam.
The only information in this fiasco has come from third parties. It would seem an odd response from a publisher - apparently "Publish and be dammed" is now replaced with "do nothing and be dammed". I suppose it is more energy efficient in the short term.
In the lead-up to this, Fairf*x's main response to stress appears to be to have Zara'd as many locations as possible. Were they going for air points? Or was it response more like a worm on a warm path - writhe and jump - since the Fairf*x empire has not been noted for it's originality or long term view? Typical malignant parasite behaviour, complete with the mad cow symptom.

1346635 2013-06-24 00:03:00 What will be interesting once the Aussies take it back, Wonder how much of a "Copy" the Aussie and NZ versions will be ???

Even now both run the same articles sometimes, with a few minor changes made, so the PC World New Zealand is really PC World Australia ---- G'day cobber ;) ?

What are you on about? PC World NZ was mainly written by Kiwi's - both full time and freelance . I'd say about 10% was "imported" .

I don't know what happens from here, but pcworld . com . au might be a glimpse at the future . Here's hoping they employ a local editor for online content and reviews :)

1346636 2013-06-24 00:07:00 Ok I just took a look at pcworld.com.au

here's hoping the future looks a shite load better than that :S

1346637 2013-06-24 02:31:00 Almost perfect. What they need is an article on 4 slice toast servers with an in depth review of the colour choices and available connector lead lengths, then it would be really good. ;) R2x1 (4628)
1346638 2013-06-27 03:56:00 Since driving on the right would confuse the hell out of most Kiwi drivers the rest of the world should drive on the left

Reminds me of the joke about the Birmingham Irishman.

He was discussing the pros and cons of taking his car to the Continent on holiday, but had serious reservations about driving on the right.

His drinking mates more or less convinced him that it was quite easy and in next to no time one felt comfortable about it - they all agreed he should do it.

The next night when he was back at his local, his mates asked him if he was now happy about driving on the right.

He replied " no bloody way, I tried last night going home from the pub and it's too ferking dangerous."
